The end of the marathon.

The last of the wedding rush is over for a few weeks, and I can say I'm looking forward to was looking forward to some time off and rest. That was before the siege of phone calls and emails last week.

Give me November, I'll be poor, but I'll get some sleep.

by tuesday I had all the prep work done
by wednesday I was baking cakes
by thursday I was making icing
by friday I knew that I didn't have enough time
by saturday I'd been up for 40 hours straight
by sunday, I was looking forward to sleeping for 40 hours straight

5 weddings + 1 groom's cake + cupcakes for the church & Q-shack = very little sleep
